IV. Attorney
Managing Member · Licensed in Michigan
Joshua M. Lee advises families, founders, and closely held enterprises on sophisticated estate planning, asset protection, and executive-level corporate matters.
He earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2013 and has been licensed to practice in Michigan since January 2014 (P78469).
In the years since, he co-founded and built a nationwide chemical distribution business — work that meant living inside the questions his clients now bring him: entity structure, partner agreements, personal guaranties, succession, and what happens to an enterprise when an owner’s circumstances change. He has been on the client side of these documents, and it shapes how he drafts them.
His practice is built around a conviction that the best private client work is quiet, unhurried, and grounded in a client’s actual circumstances rather than a template. Engagements are low-volume and flat-fee, with direct attorney involvement on every matter and close coordination alongside a client’s existing advisors — investment, tax, and insurance alike.
He lives and works in Fenton, Michigan, and serves clients throughout the US-23 corridor and the surrounding lakes communities.
